Clinical Psychology of Ethnic Minorities Newsletter

View the welcome message from the Section President and click the link below to view the full newsletter.

Dear Division 12 Section 6 members,

It is my pleasure to be your current President (AY2014). I am a Professor in the Psychology Department at Utah State University. My primary areas of research, teaching, and practice are in Latino/a mental health, parenting, and multicultural and ethics training. My hope for D12S6 this year is to promote our scientific agenda in ethnic minority mental health broadly. To that effect, we have been working for the
past six months to investigate the feasibility of having our own section journal focused on the clinical psychology of ethnic minorities. In order to achieve our goal, we must continue to grow our membership and take advantage of networking and collaboration opportunities so that we may be meaningfully and productively connected in this professional “family” that is D12S6.

Should you have any ideas or a desire to participate in our governance activities, please let me know. We would welcome your participation in advancing D12S6 goals!
