“Cultural Considerations for Psychologists in Integrated Healthcare Settings”

Dr. Adeya Richmond and doctoral student Jessica Jackson will discuss cultural considerations in integrated healthcare settings including: 
  • Awareness and evaluation of health literacy
  • Modifications to interventions that increase cultural effectiveness
  • Cultural congruency between clinicians and clients 
Adeya Richmond, PhD, is a licensed psychologist and a research scientist at the University of Minnesota. Jessica Jackson, LMHC, is a 4th year counseling psychology doctoral student at New Mexico State University, minoring in Integrated Behavioral Health.
